ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Members of the Association applying for this Medal must meet the following criteria:

• A Serviceman of the ADF officially posted to a Unit of PNG Command formerly known as Northern Command (which covered Queensland and TPNG
• Service with that Unit for a minimum of 30 days (as for ASM 1946-75)
• Service between 11 March 1951 and 15 September 1975
• Evidence of the above to be provided to the Association delegate

NOTES:

• This Policy will be revised after the Assn. receives official advice from PNGDF.
• Applications for the Medal will be handled by a delegated Committee Member of the PIB NGIB HQ PIR Association of Australia. This Committee Member will be responsible to the Assn. for keeping full records and providing an annual report.
